Physician Assistant Program Celebrates PA Week with Fun Day Event
In honor of National PA Week, celebrated annually from October 6-12, 91’s Physician Assistant (PA) Program Class of 2025 hosted an exciting PA Fun Day, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for a day of camaraderie and celebration.
National PA Week recognizes the accomplishments of physician associates and assistants across the country, highlights the quality care they provide, and raises awareness about the PA profession.
The event kicked off with a Social Justice Society meeting and elections in the PA Homeroom, followed by opening remarks from PA program faculty and staff.
Attendees enjoyed lunch provided by The Green Olive before the much-anticipated relay race, featuring friendly competition among PA cohorts from the Classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Throughout the day, participants enjoyed a variety of activities, including an ice cream truck, fruit cart, badminton, volleyball, and bracelet-making.
The “Healthcare Hero Showdown” ramped up the excitement with a scavenger hunt, Jeopardy game, and water balloon toss, giving everyone a chance to showcase their skills, teamwork, and in a few cases, their superhero costumes.
To wrap up the event, prizes and raffles awarded 91-branded merchandise, gift cards, PANCE prep books, stethoscope holders, and more, creating a thrilling end to a day filled with fun, learning, and community spirit.
PA Fun Day 2024 was a memorable celebration of current and future members of the PA profession and highlighted 91’s dedication to both academic excellence and community engagement.
